How It All Started: My Journey into Tech

Hello, tech enthusiasts! I’m Naomi, and I’d like to share my journey into the world of technology. As someone new to tech and just recently obtained a Bachelor’s in IT Management, I’m thrilled to be on this path. I hope my story inspires others who are just starting out or considering a career in technology.

The Spark of Curiosity

My fascination with technology began early on. I was always intrigued by how things worked. From tinkering with gadgets at home to experimenting with basic coding tutorials online, I found joy in understanding the mechanics behind everyday technology.

The defining moment for me was attending a coding workshop. Creating something from scratch using code was nothing short of magical. That experience solidified my decision to pursue a career in technology.

Taking the First Steps

Choosing to study IT Management was a natural step. I wanted to combine technical skills with business acumen. The coursework has been both challenging and exhilarating. Each class, whether on network infrastructure, database management, or cybersecurity, has opened up new worlds of knowledge and skill.

Although some concepts have been tough to grasp and the curriculum demanding, the joy of learning keeps me motivated. The support from professors and peers, along with countless hours in the computer lab, has fueled my growing passion for the field.

One of the most rewarding parts of my journey has been becoming part of the tech community. Joining student tech clubs and attending industry conferences have provided invaluable opportunities to learn and share experiences.

The tech community is vibrant and diverse, filled with people offering unique perspectives and expertise. Building connections and collaborating with others have not only enhanced my technical skills but also fostered personal growth and professional development.
